You will receive a full refund if you cancel registration by January 15, 2008. After that date, we are unable to offer any refunds.
- Career Fair Itinerary
On the day of the career fair, February 5, 2008:
- 8:00AM: Company representative registration and setup begins in Rockwell.
- 8:00AM: Breakfast begins in the food area.
- 9:30AM: Package confirmation checklist returned and company check-in ends.
- 9:00AM: Career Fair begins and students arrive.
- 12:00PM: Lunch begins in the food area.
- 3:30AM: Snack areas and interview area close.
- 4:00AM: Companies wrap up.
- 4:45AM: All packages to be returned due at the packaging area.
- Fair Booths
Fair booths are 8' x 10' wide. They are constructed with an 8' backdrop and 3' side rails on an aluminum frame. Each booth will be furnished with one 6' covered and skirted table, two chairs, electrical outlets, and a 2-line identifying sign. Any additional furnishing will be the responsibility of the individual exhibitor.
- Directions
The Career Fair is in Rockwell, which is building W33 on the west side of MIT Campus. It is the building highlighted in red on the map below.
Be advised that there is still ongoing construction in the area, and allow some extra travel time. Representatives who are taking a taxi to the Career Fair should direct the driver to 77 Mass. Ave. at MIT.
- Parking
We are unfortunately unable to provide parking on the MIT campus for company representatives. We recommend taking a cab to campus, since street parking is difficult. To obtain parking on campus the day of the fair, please visit the MIT Parking Page for information about visitor passes.

Lodging arrangements are the responsibility of the company representatives. A list of nearby hotels is provided below for your convenience.

Cambridge, MA 02139Be sure the company name and "TBP Career Fair" appears prominently on all boxes. Tau Beta Pi will deliver the boxes to your booth on the day of the Career Fair.

All packages must arrive at the above address by February 1, 2008 to insure arrival by the day of the event. If you are attending MIT's Tech Fair, which takes place on the 4th, and would like packages picked up from their storage location, please let us know via email at tbp-career-exec@mit.edu .
- Shipping (from MIT)
Due to unforeseen circumstances, there have been changes in the shipping policy from last year. Neither UPS nor FedEx will be able to accept payments for boxes being shipped from MIT on the day of the career fair. Therefore, companies should bring pre-paid or "pay to recipient" shipping labels with them. All packages that will be shipped back to companies NEED to have one of these shipping labels. It is not possible for companies to pay for shipping labels at MIT on the day of the event.
The TBP Career Fair ends at 4 pm. Package pickups from UPS and FedEx have been scheduled for 5 pm. Therefore, companies have one hour after the end of the event to pack up their boxes.
Any packages left in the Rockwell Cage after the career fair will be held for one week. After one week, such packages will be discarded. Neither TBP nor the TBP Career Fair will be held responsible for any packages left in the Rockwell Cage for any reason.
- Electricity & A/V Equipment
Electricity will be provided by Tau Beta Pi for all booths. Overhead projectors and TV/VCR combos are available upon request, at no additional charge. LCD projectors are available for a fee of $200. Please note A/V requests on your registration form. Phone lines and/or LAN drops will not be available.
- Catering
Breakfast and Lunch will be provided on the day of the career fair. Breakfast will be at 8:30 am. Lunch will be at 11:30 am. Vegetarian, vegan, and kosher options will be provided.
